I've had this update sitting in my repository for a little while and haven't had the time to polish a couple of things up to release it. Finally I had some breathing room after some client work so I'm now releasing version 1.1.0 of Redirect Helper Lite. This introduces an extension to the add-on which greatly enhances the processing time of the actual redirection. In earlier versions ExpressionEngined to being parsing the template before it even performed a redirection. That's a lot of overhead for something that should occur immediately. For this update I've utilized the sessions_start hook and now the redirection occurs as early as possible saving you that tiny bit of processing time.

I pushed a quick update out to ER Developer Toolbar this morning. Now you also have a Module fly-out menu for any Modules that have a custom CP backend (like Structure or Freeform for example). Don't worry, the toolbar checks permissions against the logged member's group to make sure they have access to that specific module. Go ahead and get your download!

About a month ago I released an ExpressionEngine extension called ER Developer Toolbar. Initially I thought a few folks might find it useful but then it got some attention on EE Insider and the EE Podcast. I started to think about how I might make it more than just a few text links (which is what the initial release had). My vision for the add-on quickly evolved into something much greater. Just a quick update on the new website: I've added in commenting to the blog and projects sections. I did a soft launch of the site yesterday leaving a few things to be completed. One of those things was commenting on entries. I'm satisfied enough with them for now so here they are. I'd love to start getting feedback from everyone on some of the things discussed.
